Thing 4 - Rudai23 - Communicating Visually

Hi,  Remembering my Graduation last month at the University of Limerick and getting to know how to use the Photofunia App for Thing 4 on Rudai23 . Here is a couple of images I put together plus a quick video I made using these images too in the Quik Video App.   #Rudai23 #Thing4 I think this is a great app. Very easy to use and I was surprised by the amount of templates and different styles it had in it. Very visual and eye catching and you could definitely have a bit of fun with it! Its also very easy to put together short videos using the Quick App. I just made a short video using the images above. A handy way of getting peoples attention on social media.  Kind Regards,  Philip

Thing 3 - Rudai23 - Image Banks

Hi Again,  Just completing the task for Thing 3 on the Rudai23  course by uploading some images I found on the image banks mentioned in today's email.  I thought the information in today's email was very useful and will definitely come in handy. As I start my new Tutoring role these image banks will be a good resource to turn to when searching for images for my presentations and PowerPoint's but I run my own exercise classes a few evenings a week too and I am always on the look out for good images I can use for my posters and for my social media accounts to help promote my classes. It seems every fitness class instructor in the land shares the same old generic memes and images they find on Google so I'm always looking for ways to be a bit more creative, make a bit more of an effort and try to generate my own content, so being able to search for images that are available for commercial use is going to be really beneficial to me.  I had heard of  Flickr  but

Thing 2 - Rudai23 - First Blog Post

Hi Just taking some time out from planning for my new Tutoring Role to write my first blog post as part of Rudai23. I never really appreciated before, the amount of time and preparation that goes into a Tutoring Role. As a student, the Tutor shows up with their PowerPoint slides, handouts and their knowledge on the topic and you dont really think of the time and effort that must have went into preparing for that session. I secured my first tutoring role recently, starting this academic year, and have spent that last few weeks preparing lesson plans, continuous assessments, PowerPoint presentations and gathering together resources to help me teach the topics. It has definitely giving me a lot more respect and consideration for the Tutors I've had myself over the years. While it feels a bit overwhelming at the moment with the amount of work I feel I still have to do to fully prepare, I know that my efforts will be well worth it in a few weeks. I will be starting my 4th year i
